EDT 600 - Instructional Technology

Welcome, my name is Hector Duenas. I am in Miami, Florida, or at least in that area. I'm a little further south in the Cutler Bay area, which is closer to Homestead than to Miami. I currently work for Miami-Dade County Public Schools in the Instructional Technology Department. I work as a senior network analyst. I have worked for Miami-Dade County Public Schools for approximately 26 years. And I hope that, while taking this master's program, I can move up or be promoted as an instructional supervisor and move out of my technical role as a senior network analyst. And upon graduating, hopefully, I will be in a position where I can apply to be the director of instructional technology. 

Outside of work. I also work as a teaching pastor. I spend most of my free time in the gym. I enjoy martial-arts movies with subtitles and also like to watch Star Wars or science fiction-themed movies. I've been out of school for a while, so I'm hoping I can juggle this with everything else.
