Module Five Assignment
Below is a video presentation reviewing the hardware and software technology systems, as well as the resources, and services available at my school or workplace. This presentation will highlight how the systems, resources, and services are utilized. Moreover, the presentation will show how they benefit my professional role, the organization, and the learners.
Hy-Flex Learning
A HyFlex class makes class meetings and materials available so that students can access them online or in-person, during or after class sessions. All students, regardless of the path taken, will achieve the same learning objectives.
Bringing together different technologies – mobile devices, interactive whiteboards, streaming media, and digital content – to enhance student learning, by increasing student engagement and student technology literacy.
MDCPS uses six major components: Classroom Infrastructure, Digital Content, Device Deployment, School Technology Purchases, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), and Professional Development.

iBot Initiative
Through the iBot Initiative, elementary schools integrate introductorily project-based robotics/coding activities into the existing science and math curriculum.
Giving students choice in the classroom through educational robotics can boost their engagement and motivation, allow them to capitalize on their strengths, and enable them to meet their learning needs, and by applying their skills to a real-world setting. Students are then able to learn to appreciate the value of mathematics in their daily lives.
Educational robotics is an excellent way to make math more meaningful for students. Students hone valuable skills with problem-solving, troubleshooting, research, and development, invention, and innovation.

Learning Management System
Manages face-to-face, blended, and online learning environments. The Schoolagy LMS has built-in versatility that allows educators to create and facilitate learning communities and engage parents and education partners in supporting student learning.
The district’s new learning management system will serve as a hub for both the district’s vast collection of digital resources and for the delivery of instructional content. As a resources hub, the LMS will streamline content creation and distribution of resources (at the district and school levels) and bring all applications and services into a single location.
The advantages of the LMS include enhanced traditional face-to-face instruction and Blended Learning Opportunities.

Interactive Boards
Students can learn by touching, seeing, hearing, and collaborating with the board, thus equipping teachers with new, innovative ways to teach the same subject material. Because of this, students learn better and retain more.
The District has standardized with Promethean as our interactive whiteboard solution. Providing a solution that allows educators to take standard lectures and turn them into interactive activities by integrating various learning styles into one experience. Benefits include: ease, flexibility, connectivity, and integration with other solutions such as computers, microscopes, cameras, and camcorders to enhance instruction.

Microsoft Office 365
Students and educators all have access to Microsoft Office 365 Education for free, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Teams, and other additional classroom tools.
Learning on a professional platform: Students can take advantage of robust, professional platforms students can access the technology needed to learn as they go. Students can virtually connect and collaborate with peers, and have remote access to instructors.
Moreover, students can study in the classroom or at home on a completely accessible system that operates in the same way regardless of the platform that’s used to connect to it.
